NCASE 9 litres SteamBox case - from the makers of the M1

They should have put in an integrated SFX PSU. They are expensive as hell and they are difficult to find a good one. EVGA had the right idea when it brought out it's Hardon line.

I agree but I think the case it self will be at least $100 so if you are getting $100 case for HTPC I think it is reasonable to assume that you have money to spare even on expensive SFX PSU.

At the same time this is the reason why I still cant decide to get HTPC in to living room as I spend on case and PSU as much money as everything else and that is prety much deal breaker.

As the NCASE SteamBox is on hold, I might point to another (even smaller) case in the making over at [H]

A4: The smallest gaming case series in the world

I use the same nick on [H] and Steam ;)

I didn't even bother looking at the username. Just grabbed the photo (sorry)

I like the small cases but i tend to like them with the risers to make the form-factor more narrow. and depending on how much mesh is on the top of the box you might be able to get away with a non-ref card so you can get rid of the stupid blowers. Though i guess if you went with a 770 or 970 blower it wouldn't be too bad, any of the AMD cards wouldn't like that.

where does the PSU go in that system? have an extender to move it up front?

NCASE, you geniuses. Your quality is on par with products from Caselabs or Fractal Design.

I really want this case. I found the RVZ01 to be dissapointing since it had those weird corrugated edges and wasn't exactly a small case either. This is just...I'm speechless.

I would not be putting fractal on the same level of build quality as NCASE (and by extension Lian Li because im pretty sure thats who the are getting to make these things or at least that is what i heard) and Caselabs. They have intelligent case layouts and nice designs but as far as pure build quality and quality of the materials is concerned they are not even close. They cant even touch silverstones temjin line of cases seeing as those things are all aluminum.

I'm generally a minimalist when it comes to cases, but something about that Lian Li just speaks to me. A bit like a vacuum tube amplifier, it's a bit of a show piece.

I misunderstood... It says GPU: two slots,
