8350 CPU Watercooled Overclocking Help

yea you can try that but your CPU radiator is the crucial part

which is why the intercooler in a turbocharged car is installed in the front

Yeah I guess ima have to flip it over and check the temps

Im pretty solid on Fans, using 4 of the Corsair SP's in pushpull. Gotta figure out if the fans are going at their full potential through the Cosair H100 controller on the waterblock. My thermal paste is aftermarket, I use the Arctic Silver 5

If you switch to NH-T1 or MX-4 you will notice a significant temp reduction. AS5 is actually pretty bad...

MX-4 is not on here though since its a newer product that wasn't around when these were made. Its basically the same as MX2 and 3 except even better ;)

Hmm, So I just Ordered MX-4 Thermal Compound, But anyways I turned off Cool n Quiet and all that sort of stuff, and flipped the fans around. Its now running a bit hotter though, about 1-2 degrees hotter. Hmmm
