Metro redux cheaper on steam...

I was going to get metro redux, I had already owned metro 2033 so I bought the game at the discount price of 12.50 but then I realized last light is on sale for 5$ so I got this idea... owners of the game get half off the redux on steam. So I bought last light for 5$ and then steam still gave me the half of discount for last light redux. Basically doing this I save 8 dollars off the game.5+12.50=17.50... Metro 2033 is 3.75 so you would save 9 dollars doing the same thing. So everyone who wants the redux the steam sale for both games is on tonight. Buy those first then immediately you can buy then redux games for half price on steam. Go fourth....and save money...

I realized this earlier today.

TL;DR it's cheaper to buy the original games AND the redux versions than just the redux versions

that is about as far as I have found. Thats why I went and bought last light immediately even if I didn't get the discount after the game comes out, if I decided to get the redux later at most I lost 5$

I'd consider it for 2033, because it's a bit older, but last:light is already pretty gorgeous...

I think redux has all the bugs fixes (even one's the normal versions haven't got), all the DLC addon's as well as graphical improvements (so will look better and run better)

No, they added transitional areas between different levels. More firefights, they brought in elements from last light into 2033 to enhance the game play a bit more. The upgrade is more than just graphics. It isn't a lot but it isn't just the same game with better graphics.
