I'll admit that, yes. And Bacon is pretty fuckin' sweet too. But still, it's always the same thing. Also, sometimes people ask us "isn't Denmark a part of Germany?" *facepalm*

Well technically the countries are connected.. But by that logic sweden would be a part of russia. And france would be a part of spain etc.etc

 

I'll add another dumb thing i hear quite often..

One particular instance I recall happened at a Zoo a few years ago. We had just gotten to the Tigers, when we were joined at the exhibit by a very trashy working class family. You know the kind; all of them were overweight, mostly wearing tracksuits, smoking and slurring their words and grammar. Then the mother suddenly exclaims "Whoa look at these, they're really out of this world, init!"

 

We then promptly walked away...

 

As an unrelated side point, I don't agree with Zoos at all.

Sounds like they belong in a zoo. Who wears track suits anymore?

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

I have actually had a friend tell me that the PC release of Battlefield 4 was going to have a minimum requirement of 32GB of RAM and a dual GPU configuration with 6GB of video memory each. I know, this isn't the stupidest thing mentioned in this topic, but for us nerds, it is pretty ridiculous.

 

I've seen someone attempt to order a cheeseburger from Starbucks, however. I don't think they were joking around, either.

A few months ago in an It class at my high school there was a guy who believed that the Battlefield dev team was only 3 people and thought that he could recreate Call of Duty on Gamemaker by himself. He isn't the smartest person in my classes.

If he/she replaced the Pentium G3258 with some random single/dual core Atom, then it would be kinda correct (speaking from experience)

I'm taking a computer tech class for a collage credit and there is a kid in my class that is so stupid. The teacher as the kid how many GB of ram he had and HD space and he said he had 500GB of ram I just start laughing, like this guy is so stupid.

It seems like people get RAM and storage spaced mixed up so they have 500GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
