Radeon r5 230 wont work !

Hey guys , so i bought an graphics card to switch my integrated motheroard graphics .


And when  put it in my rig an ran it , notin , black screen , tried 3 times .


Went to store , worked perfectly on their rig .


 had an last graphics card nvdia gt 630 ,shoud i delete its drivers  and if so , how ?


Or what do i do ?  


I deleted nvidia drivers , installed it , and nothing , im soo desperate pls help

Is the GT 630 just a small bit weaker?

Have you plugged it in properly? It makes no sense for it not to work as the GT 630 is more power hungry. Drivers don't matter, they are inside the OS and you should just get a low ressolution when there are no drivers.

Did you go into the BIOS and change the the video output?

Try the 230 in another system (a friend's system if you don't have another system on hand) to check if it's the problem...

but OP didnt you follow my steps and reset the BIOS?

 

 

if you are still not sure post a picture of your system and we can tell you where to go

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
