Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this has been done already but I thought I'd see, for Linus' benefit, how much everyone likes this forum. This will be done through a poll and also commenting. I know that the majority of members on here love this forum but how much is something we're going to find out with this thread.

It's more active and open than the other forums that I participated in so, yeah... I think I'll be crashing here for a while...

Even though this is the best forum I have ever been to, it's starting to lose its charm with all of the twats that are signing up and being complete ignorant dicks to everyone. There also seem to be a lot of people that completely ignore what someone says (opinion or not). But, with that out of the way, there are a lot of pretty nice people here.

Problem is these people are Nazi when it comes to post placement. They move things that don't need to be moved. Im mad that I have to put my Top 5 series In whatever category its about and I can't put it in general.

its a good forum, very welcoming and light hearted. however, as @tmcclelland455 said, its getting slightly annoying at the moment with some people not taking advice given, even though it is valid. and people who seem to come here just to troll. but, it is still a good forum with most people kind on the whole.

The people that like Top Gear UK make it better.

I honestly don't know because it's the best show ever. It's getting less and less frequent unfortunately, but the quality is still way up there. Also I like this forum a lot. 10/10 I'd say.

quality over quantity. plus when you have three middle aged, balding, fattening men who cant read without glasses and aren't as healthy as they were. especially Clarkson with his smoking.

I like this forum. Need less AMD vs Intel arguments. People need to use the search function more.

search field doesnt work that well. i always search for what im about to post and get nothing then i get told its a repost even though the post i have supposedly reposted doesnt cover the question im asking. also when people feel like their opinions and advice should always be listened too need to understand that their opinions are subjective and arent always going to be the best option for someone else

Great forum with a simple to use text editor, and with a good community that won't like, sue you for posting in the wrong section.

12/10 if it weren't for people throwing all their build advice threads into General.

 

13/10 if people would realize that the separate categories exist for a reason. The "but people won't see it" argument is invalid; there's always a feed on the right hand side of the page.

 

14/10 if people would stop asking the obvious (in other words, things that they already know). No more AMD vs. Intel or Intel is better! or AMD is better! threads unless you genuinely are unaware of each's disadvantages/advantages. Cut down on the flame wars.
