First of all, let's introduce myself. I'm Pedro, from Spain (not best English ever, sorry). And I've been following linus from long ago, love his videos, that's the reason I'm here, posting my first message.

OK, let's go to the main topic.

Some weeks ago, I've bought a nzxt 810 case through amazon. I got it in time, everything was perfect till I take the first look to the box. It hasn't got any kind of reinforcement, just the case box, anything else. On a second look, I realized about this :

Two big holes on the box, I went very scared because of the big one, the other was were the inside plastic are.

I took my case off, and this is what I got...

It doesn't seems to be so big in the picture, but it is... Even moved a little out the glass, so I have to adjust it many times...

The big problem is, that I'm from Canary islands, and we have different kinds of taxes, so if I send it back to replace it, I may have to pay about 60 pounds or more in taxes (apart from the shipping)... And shippings are very slow, I don't want to pay that much, and even have to wait for a month or more to have it back.

Any help from you guys? I thought about replacing just the side panel, but I don't know if they can do it...

I'm very disappointed with Amazon this time...

you should have gotten the more expensive shipping one,i remember seeing the option when i was floating around amazon and ouch i feel sorry fro you........

It also could be the shipping company.

Contact Amazon about it, we are not their customer support, not trying to sound like a dick but there isn't anything we are able to do to help with this situation.

 

BTW also the shipping company are probably the ones responsible for this, not Amazon directly, it was likely fine prior to dispatch.

Aren't the shipping company liable for damages? If I received something like this (I've gotten messed up boxes, but never products) I would demand a full refund of the price of the item from the shipping company, or a replacement.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

You should not accept damaged packages on delivery.

You should not accept damaged packages on delivery.

If I would be living on mainland Spain, or a big country, it wouldn't be a problem, but, I live in a very tiny islands located somewhere at Morocco's west, at the Atlantic Ocean, and even belonging to Spain, we're not "UE MEMBERS, or even not belong to Spain " for some sort of things, depending on politics interests, so, if I don't accept the package, I'll have to wait more than a month without a case, that, maybe it's damaged, or maybe not. This time happened that it was, bad luck, and send it back, is full of taxes (kind of lottery, I may have to pay, or maybe I don't have) apart from the shipping...

Well, contacting the courier, it's a good idea, I didn't know about this, thank you!
