Posted August 15, 2014 What game specifically causes this, or is it all of your games? If it is all of your games, check task manager (With the game running) and see if anything else is using your CPU. If not, then some games are more CPU intensive than others, I could just be normal. Also, a 4670k will most definitely not bottleneck your GPU. You will know for sure if your CPU is bottlenecking, because it will result in a lower FPS in games. I know I've had a few CPUs that just wouldn't cooperate when overclocked... I know that a 4670k with a z87 mobo practically begs to be OC'd, but it's worth a try? Posted August 15, 2014 All cores. Hmmm. I am assuming it has always been like this? Have you tried reinstalling windows? Worth a shot before RMA'ing. I don't think this is a hardware problem though. When you're playing games what are your temps? I'm not asking this in case of it getting too hot, but to see if it is doing anything at all. EDIt: My bad you said the temps.
