More subscribers = more viewers watching = videos brought to the masses = sponsors like this.

In the mind of a sponsor "We don't mind our products being shown to one million people".

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow; Motherboard: MSI ZZ490 Gaming Edge; CPU: i7 10700K @ 5.1GHz; Cooler: Noctua NHD15S Chromax; RAM: Corsair LPX DDR4 32GB 3200MHz; Graphics Card: Asus RTX 3080 TUF; Power: EVGA SuperNova 750G2; Storage: 2 x Seagate Barracuda 1TB; Crucial M500 240GB & MX100 512GB; Keyboard: Logitech G710+; Mouse: Logitech G502; Headphones / Amp: HiFiMan Sundara Mayflower Objective 2; Monitor: Asus VG27AQ

It has nothing to do with youtube videos, the only thing these companies will give a dam is how many people will see the product he's reviewing.

It's a smart business decision to sponsor people like Linus, because you spend a few dollars sending him something, he reviews it, tons of people buy it.

He's a pretty big guy (not as in fat lol) and so I guess every company wants a bit of the awesomeness, which is LinusTechTips.

He had the backing of NCIX (large retailer)

When you have the products in stock, ready to review. You get a giant leap ahead.

Now since he was establised and had NCIX backing, he was able to reach out to companies for sample products.

These samples are what they sent out to people to well test. He gets to overview it, put a video up and grow.

It just grows from there. Now he has made a name for himself and it's exposure for product.

Lots of the products sent from people like MSI + ETC are on "tour"

IE: MSI sends linus a 780, with a time-limit he can use it before he sends it to the next reviewer.

In a video that TinyTomLogan made awhile back he describes in detail about how it works.

Some are sent back to the company, some are kept by LMG, and as Lays said, some are sent onto the next reviewer. I'm sure there would be more scenarios, but I cannot think of what they would be at the moment.

Because he has a voice in the tech-world. at least on the internet :D Also, he is one of the biggest youtubers after MKBHD, I think, and it's a full time job, unlike Marques who is doing YouTube alongside college, which makes LTT able t produce more videos. They also have an entire team of people.

The way anybody else gets sponsors. Have large follower base, ask out and tell what you can provide for their money. Basicly your question could be "How does ____ get lots of sponsors?" and you can add anyone with 10 or more sponsors like esport teams, techsites etc.
