Legit, but not 100% legal as far as Microsoft is concerned.

they often sell student codes which expire after 1-2 years, and selling student codes is illegitimate as far as microsoft is concerned

Sort of. It's a grey zone. What @Johners said is correct, but it is likely if you get a key it will only work for a year or two.

Eh, I trust G2A themselves, but not the other people that sell on there.

What do they know of England, who only England know?

so if windows stop working in about 2 years would i be able to uninstall them and buy new one

You wouldn't need to uninstall as far as I know. You would need to re-activate using a new key, basically you could just keep buying these every 1-2 years. Or stock-up on them your self.

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

is this original windows key or is it just some kind of pirate windows key

https://www.g2a.com/windows-8-professional-32-64-bit-cd-key-global.html

For Games, yes (though they were caught up in those stolen keys for Sniper Elite 3, though many reputable retailers were too), for windows key the verdict is still out on these and nobody is sure

Rumours are they are selling student/MSDN keys that is against microsoft TOS, though the legality is an other issue

If you want 100% legit, buy from a normal retailer

Windows 9 will probably be released in two years, i wouldn't bother stocking up on these.

Depending on the price, I might buy 1 or 2 of these some time. Only if something forces me to re-install though.

The key will "work" but  the way it was obtained, then listed to be sold is not legitimate in anyway.

Another thing to think about, who gets the money from these sales, what's the split for the key seller and the developer/publisher? The developers/publishers see maybe a tiny fraction if not a potential and sometimes real loss these sales (In addtion regional pricing many keys have been obtained through stolen credit cards, and/or stolen physical retail copies.) The key seller is the only one making a profit here, you might as well pirate the software instead of promoting these grey markets which undermine developers/publishers.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.
