Overkill to the max definitely.

1. Why 1000W PSU on a system that uses 600-650W during gaming?

2. That motherboard is WAAAAAAAAAY overpriced.

3. 4770k over 4790k is just silly.

4. Unless you have loads of shit where you cannot stand loadtimes a 500GB SSD is just a waste of money really.

5. $200 for a case? Really? There are better options for less money (A 300R which gives money to spend on 4 high quality case fans as well as fan splitter/controller.

Note1: No it will not bottleneck but as I said, go with 4790k.

Note2: Now you're just going to overspend $150 dollars because you like that board for an unspecified reason. It's FAR FROM worth the money.

Why is the HDD $238?

EDIT: just saw it was a black

EDIT 2: i would also recommend an 4790k

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

- WCCFTECH

I was only 9 years old. I loved Fifflaren so much, I had all the NiP merchandise and matches pirated. I prayed to Fifflaren every night before bed. Thanking him for the life I have been given. Fifflaren is love I say. Fifflaren is life. My dad hears and calls me a fuckhead. I knew he was just jelly of my passion for Fifflaren. I called him a Sw@yer. He hits me and sends me to go to sleep. I'm crying now, and my face hurts. I lay in bed and it's really cold. A warmth is moving towards me. I feel someone touching me. I feel someone touching me. It's Fifflaren. I am so happy. He whispers in my ear; "this is my pyjama". He grabs me with his powerful Swedish hands and puts me on my hands and knees. I'm ready. I spread my ass cheeks for Fifflaren. He penetrates my butt-hole. It hurts so much but I do it for Fifflaren. I can feel my butt tearing as my eyes start to water. I push against his force. I want to please Fifflaren. He roars a viking roar as he fills my butt with his love. My dad walks in. Fifflaren looks straight into his eyes and says; "He is a ninja now". Fifflaren is love, Fifflaren is life

Looks great to me, I do not believe in overkill this looks like a solid build

No the 4770k will not bottleneck 2 780tis although not sure if 3gb of Vram will be an issue in surround gaming, you might have to get Titan Blacks for their 6gb Vram Or get 2x 290x as they have more Vram too (and are cheaper)

Do not get a black drive, get 2x 2tb Blues, faster, more storage and cheaper! (or get another SSD or something)

Also the kraken headset is really shit, sorry

Also I would probably go for some better monitors

I usually say that it's never overkill, plus overkill is good,

However, what will you be using this PC for, because If you'll be doing a lot of video editing or any other type of content creation it would be worth it to sacrifice one of the 780Tis and get an intel 6-core.

Oh and that motherboard and power supply are unnecessary unless you'll be doing extreme overclocking.

Get a 4790k with a Asus Maximus VII Formula

Didnt know the 4790k is out, okay, got that in. Nope, M/B is staying.

What will you use the computer for, but it looks good, not the HDD though ^_^

Ok, got a WD Blue 1TB drive.

get 2/3 290Xs instead of 2 780tis

No.

Not planing to play on 3 monitors. Only one. On other monitors i need capture software monitoring, and some other stuff open and have a eye on.

Okay, Razer is going out of the Window.

Got a WD Blue 1TB.

Switched supply, motherboard is staying.

And i really like the idea of dual 780 Ti's, so im okay for another 5 years of PC upgrading.

More like this?

Genuinely tell me why you are so adamant on keeping the Extreme. It makes no damn sense other than dickwaiving rights.

Also if you are going to go 4790k unless you do not mind flashing the bios for an update you will need to get a different motherboard. Z87 needs an update before they support Devil's Canyon whereas Z97 does not. Recommend upgrading to the VII Formula as opposed to the VI Extreme.

Preffered my build just change the monitor if you don't like it

Get a 1440p Monitor for your main display and 2 cheap monitors for random shizzle, those Acer monitors are PANTS for systemf or this calibre you dont want a generic 1080p 60hz monitor

Go 1440p for better visuals, otherwise on point getting SLI/Crossfire

Mine had better CPU, Better audio!, better SSD/Storage, better case, just as good peripherals (arguable the best mouse  and a great keyboard) drop the 4k monitor, grab a 1440p and maybe another 1 or 2 cheapos

It's very close to bottleneck at stocks in games that use all threads. Any GPU OC without CPU OC will bottleneck. CPU 98%, GPUs 99% in WatchDogs, BF4, Crysis 3, etc...

What? Any GPU OC without CPU OC will bottleneck? That is not true. Also I am surprised your CPU and GPU utilisation is at 99%, bear in mind he is only gaming on 1 display (not surround)

1. Dont like the esthetics ot the VII Formula.

2. It will be more fun installing that 4790k and flashing the BIOS.

3. I like the 5inch bay exterior panel for esthetic reasons.

4. I dont want a 10kilo motherboard because of that plastic shields in the front and back.

5. The VI Extreme is more classy.

6. The VI Extreme is better looking.

Need more?

So you spend $150 more than necessary just because it looks prettier? You don't even have a case with a window.

dont need 6 cores dude, too much heat and a quad is almost perfect i assume :)

True, though it fits in budget!, You could still choose the 4790k/4770k over the 4930k, though if you can afford it I would get it

4 of your 6 reasons were looks. You are seriously wasting money but your choice really.
