It is 1.180$ here in Denmark. Also I just saw this in the product page:

WARNING: How do I setup Surround Gaming [for 3x PG278Q in triple monitor setup]?

  • Two monitor + SLI and Surround + Tri-SLI currently does NOT work with GSync since all display outputs must be connected to the primary graphics card. However since there is only one DP output per Nvidia graphics card (future products not withstanding), only one PG278Q is supported per card. Triple monitor can be enabled with one PG278Q per card, but no multi-GPU performance gains are available.
  • DP daisy chaining is also not supported – a single WQHD, 144Hz G-Sync monitor needs all the bandwidth available on DP1.2 that a second monitor is not possible.

guys, people that hate this monitor coz of its panel. its an 8-bit native TN panel. most tns are 6-bit, the colours wont be that bad.

i dnno if anyone complained in this thread but in the last one, Jesus people fucking hated it, suppose it was because of its price also but you know

I'm just hoping I don't run into any thermal issues since the PCI spacing isn't great on my z97 hero. The air 540 case I have is great at keeping my single card cool I just don't know how well it can handle two. Maybe since I have a nonreference card I should put a reference 780 in the bottom slot

I was prepared to get it at $799, so this double seals the deal.  I just paid $530 for the ASUS PB278Q and the Swift blows it's specs out of the water for $120-150 more.

Viewing angles are still pretty bad, that's just inherent to the TN technology. Usually I wouldn't mind that much, but for a 27'' screen it will definitely be noticeable, even if you look straight at it or if you are just slightly off angle.

If they traded the 144hz for an ips panel, they could not take my money fast enough. But I still might consider it if the panel gets good enough reviews. I don't do color work, but do appreciate a nice panel. A good tn panel can get the job done for me, but it must be good.

Interesting. Hopefully I can see one in person before I make my next monitor purchase.

Yea if the price is now 800, I will surely wait till G sync becomes more popular before buying one.

Isn't Acer releasing a 4K Gsync for like 50 dollars more?

Probably wrong with me not understanding the translation of European currencies to USD.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.
