what are the chances of finding a model m in a thrift store?

if i go to a store such as goodwill, what are the chances of finding an IBM model m? i would have to drive a long way, so i dont want to make the trip if its useless

The chances are a whopping large question mark. It's a thrift store, it's impossible to guess what random merch one will have.

The chance of finding one at the thrift shop I work at is literally zero. Our upper management says that (and I don't understand why) we are not allowed to sell electrical equipment unless it's battery operated.

There's  one in a Lab at my university. It's full of chemicals from the last few generations of chemists. Still it's university property, otherwise i would've gotten it. :P

Haha. I think nobody would miss it if i was to replace it with an equally good keyboard, heck i could probably just ask for it. :D
