Looking for around 150$ headphones, 3.5mm

tczyq

Any suggestions guys? I need something that i can just work with my onboard audio and slap a modmic on. I'll be playing games and listening to a very wide range of music, so im looking for anything that performs well in all ranges of sound. Oh, and comfort is another thing, something with comfy pads i can use long term for ridiculous length gaming stints.

Amazon says this is the wrong size jack. i posted this thread because everywhere people were suggesting headphones with those big plugs. Thanks anyways though, heh.

Forgot about that, nice thing is that the cable is swappable, so you can do like I did, and get a spare cable.

oh, awesome. Is plug on the end of the headphones a 3.5mm? So i'd just order a spare 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable and be set?

I use the 558s but I bought a replacement cable because i was tired of having that really long cord (the replacement has a 3.5mm jack)

Audio Technica ATH M50s or M50x. Best purchase I've ever made. Unless you're a bass addict, you are doing yourself a disservice by not buying M50s.

k bud. 558 are easily as good. And M50/M50x are pretty pointless now that the M40x exists. That's to say nothing of the Sennheiser HD 380, Beyerdynamic DT 770, Shure 440, Sony 7506...
