Hello there! I'm fairly new to the forum, but that doesn't hold me back from making myself a new RIG. 

 

This build is atm hardcore WIP.

I still need to find out some stuff and do some more research. So it's atm more planning than anything else.

It'll start off on November (probably the first saturday in november).

 

My Rig I have at this moment:

My Rig I have at the moment is pretty frankenstein. I butchered it together in like an hour, because I was in a hurry. And since then, never touched it, because of school and work. I had alot of funerals and other familiar stuff which draged me down. So yeah. ANYWAYS.

 

CPU: Core i5 - 2400

Cooler: Stock

GPU: AMD 6950

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4Gb 1600MHz

PSU: Corsair RM 850

Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus V Gene (LGA 1155)

Storage: Kingston SSDNow 128GB, WD Cavier Green 2TB (@7.2kRPM)

Case: Sharkoon T9 (green)

 

That's it. It's.. a dog.

 

Planned RIG :

CPU: Core i7 - 2600k (I'll be doing some OC's on it)

Cooler: Corsair H105 AiO (replacing stock with a push/pull config. of Corsair SP 120 PWM Quiet Ed. and Noctua NF-F12's)

GPU: ASUS GTX 780Ti DirectCU II OC  3GB GDDR5 (OC for sure)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2 x 8Gb @ 1600MHz

PSU: Corsair RM 850

Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus V Gene (LGA 1155)

Storage: Kingston SSDNow 128GB, WD Caviar Green 2TB (@7.2kRPM), WD Caviar Black 2TB (@10kRPM), 2 x Samsung Evo Pro Basic's 256GB SSD's (in Raid 0)

Case: NZXT H440 black/red

Other: Special red sleeved Cable Kit from Corsair for my PSU, Some fan splitters, and other Junk

Storage: Kingston SSDNow 128GB, WD Caviar Green 2TB (@7.2kRPM)

 

Parts I need to buy: English German Cpu Cooler

 

The colour scheme is going to in black with red accents. I'll also make a blueprint (of some sort) with the h440 and the stuff I want to have in there. Just so I know If everything fits or if I need to get some extensions or other junk I might need. (For example S-Ata extensions.. I'll probably need two of those beaucse of the design of the SSD sleds that are in the case.

 

Also I've started thinking (mainly because of c3p0 T-T :P) of adding decals.

I have some ideas, which I'll add @ ~ 9th of August.

If anyone wants to photoshop the decals on this case, go for it. :) I'de happy to see something like that. (Since I can't do it on my own because of holidays... yay.)

Good question, simple answer: I plan ahead quite alot. I like it that way. This here is also to see how I progress in thinking about doing everything. I'ts easier for my. Because I'm in my holidays and I have a lot of spare time. Which means I can plan really good. And make a Build which will be better than I made all of my thinking in 1 week. :) (Alright not so simplte answer, but you know.. different people think different. And I'm swiss, I like to organize things in advance. xD)

Meh.. not a fan of that. I like my stuff (relatively) clean. I'd put max. a Sticker at the side.

Got an idea: why nit put the project name on a side panel? :3

It's got 200mm fans so it kinda fit :P
