Why would you ever need more than 2?

The reason behind the current limits is so that you're not scrolling past a page of signatures

i ad-block all of everyone's signatures, so 0.

Since you can't have images in your signature, how do you use adblock to hide people's sigs?

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

but then there are people with loads of "awards" that make their sig just be a bunch of white space :D

I block sigs because people fill them with rainbow coloured PC specs and it's distracting as fuck.

Agreed, we need something like overclock.net uses for rigs.

We have a dedicated section in the profile for PC specs, mine are there I don't understand why other users don't use it.

I hate when I go a troubleshooting thread and OP has asked something that needs me to know one or more of their specs, I open the profile and see it's blank so I post asking for the spec, and the reply is "it's in my sig.".

WHY

Not really too fussed on them, some are useful though.

I think the 3 line limit is perfect. You can put links there, so if it's interesting enough for me to read I'll click on it.

I'm good with three lines or less. It really is nice not to have to scroll through a wall of them on a netbook.

EDIT: But I wish we could use images like the CPU-Z validation ones.

I can't remember, somehow I managed to block the whole element.

maybe if users can choose to block & allow signatures from their profile settings that'd be nice addition,

Details separate people.

I see nothing wrong with signatures, as long as they're tasteful and not an eye-sore. If it's flashy, it's not going to make me want to read it anymore than anyone else's.

Personally, I like when people have the PC specs hidden with the "show" button. It saves us having to ask what your specs are when you ask questions and it keeps everything nice and clean looking.
