Yeah everything is cheaper in the US even without huge sales going on:(

As part of my Sound Blaster ZX SBX purchase, there's a headphone/mic extension unit, with standard and mini jack inputs. It looks great and I plugged my Sennheiser HD555 into the standard size jack input and music via this extension unit is pretty good......and convenient, ebverything's right in front of me, including vol control. Only snag is this, you have to switch between speaker and headphone output via the SB control panel......at least, that;s as far as I've gotten. It has a red and black theme, and I like it as my main rig has a red and black motif.

yes I have that on my ZxR as well its very any I have been using it with other stuff as well since its completely analog. I also find having to open the control panel to switch between speakers and headphones to be a pain. I really wish you could just right click the tray icon or assign a keyboard shortcut. I did bring this up to them in a support email but I doubt that there is going to be a change. The other issue I have with the ZxR is that when you switch to headphones it sets them to 5.1 in windows not 2.0. Since I have all of the surround stuff turned off in the creative software if I dont manually set it to 2.0 in windows I will only hear the right and left channels in surround.

Yeah everything is cheaper in the US even without huge sales going on:(

It was a shell shocker which is why I picked up for a friends that really needed a new headset.

Just ordered the following:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004SUO068/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Ordered it just to have a blu ray drive on my PC. No real need. Just for a JIC scenario

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E3W15P0/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Ordered for a dedicated gaming SSD for games like BF4 that will really benefit from it. (Most games play fine from my HDD but BF4 could be faster.)
