Fan filters anybody?

Got two DEMCI 240mm filters, one for the front (case already has one but a fair amount of dust still gets past it) and one for unoccupied fan mounts in the side panel that air is being passively drawn through. Also have a single 120mm that I sit over the spare PCI brackets at the back, the graphics card seems to be pulling some dust through there.

where did you get them from. are they magnetic

EDIT: Sending it back. Oh my god this case is such a piece of crap. My 250D is better at cooling than this. and the build quality is the worst I have ever seen on a case. I really like the look....but that is about it now....sadly.

Got this a few days ago but was too busy to take any pictures.

The gorgeous MSI GeForce GTX 780 Lightning *cough getting another one in a week cough*

It makes the GTX 660 look like a piece of shit, one thing that really surprised me is the actual size and weight.

The rest of the collection minus the EVGA GeForce GT 630 because my mate is currently using that. The GTX 650 Ti doesn't look anything special right there but I can assure you that she is quite a beast.

p89uRVD.jpg

The beast in my system to make sure she actually works. I have put the GTX 650 Ti back in because I need to rearrange a few things in my case. No idea how the hell I'm going to fit two in the 335U Elite.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Its a beast of a card. A friend has one. The one suggestion I have it turn down the middle fan as its super loud and does comparatively to the others.

What kind of temperatures does your mates run it, someone told me they go around 80 degrees or so which I'd find a little disappointing

mine goes till about 71-75 while gaming and fans at 49% max when not overclocked in H440 which doesn't have best airflow and also air cooler on cpu, so that's throwing more heat in the case

waiting for another AIO

So is it safe to assume it should stay around the early to mid 60's with a slightly faster fan speed. Where both cards are going to be I have two 140mm Fractals spinning at around 1,000rpm (almost silent) so hopefully that will help and also will be replacing the 120mm on the front with a 140mm Fractal.

probably, will depend on airflow as well

i'm also thinking of adding another lightning in there now that the prices have dropped, still waiting for bit cheaper ones :D

and removing the fan filter in the front

i also have 2 noctuas at 1k rpm atm blowing in the card but are restricted by the fan filter quite a lot (can notice it with bare hand how much is blowing with or without the filter)

but i don't worry much, i open the case when it gets over 85°C, but that was only in summer when OCed and running valley :D, now it's getting colder and don't have it OCed for gaming if it can run it smoothly w/o

for me tho silence>temp, so i won't increase the fans speed just to keep it at 60-mid 60, i'm comfortable going to 85°C

I feel like the rest of your system could use a bit of love after the second 780 goes in. In fact is your PSU even enough for dual cards.

Yes I pre-ordered it. Come @ Me

You should stop preordering games and help put an end to the stupid concept of crazy preorder bonuses.

I recently picked up a keycap pad with all the different key types. So far I have decided that my favourite is Clear followed by Blues and Greens. (Doesn't come with the red keycaps, those are from my Ducky and I thought it looked cool like that :D )

Also picked up a highway code book as I have my driving theory test in a couple of weeks.

No, I will be getting a very sexy Seasonic EVO 850w fully-modular unit. I should get the board and PSU first but I want another Lightning before they're all out of stock, it may be a while but I want to secure another one in case.
