Good Workstation Graphics Cards?

With that budget, I think you should go with a Titan, but you haven't specified what kind of work you're gonna be doing.

Hi @ZealousGam3r, I don't have experience with either, so I can't answer your question directly.  However, with workstations some of the decisions such as GPU will be made for you.  First and foremost the programs you're looking at using, which cards are they certified for, then the mobo that you're looking at what is that certified for.  Aside from that in regards to the monitor, I'm guessing that you already have a 10 bit monitor, but in case you don't I thought it was worth mentioning that the PB monitors you're looking at don't support 10 bit to my understanding, you'd need to go to the Asus PA series for that.

 

Outside of the above, with the workstation cards performance is only part of what you're paying for.  So in making your decision look at warranty, is one better than the other - for example how quickly can they sort an issue out for you.  Limiting downtime is a big part of what you're paying for, so ensure that whichever card you get will give you value for money on this aspect.

 

If you have the inclination, I'd love to see your build blog when it all comes together.  And read your thoughts on how its all performing for you.

Wow. That was the first actually helpful response! Thanks! And as far as I know, its the only PB monitor with 10 bit, although I could be wrong. But either way Thanks!

Oh, and this build wont come soon, as I use my money on other things too, but once it comes ill do a blog.
