Any decent, free, editing software?

Marvzl1357

Hullo,

I need to do some video editing/creation for my school, and I'd rather do it on my laptop than the school computers.

So, what are a few video editing programs that are easy to use and are relatively feature rich?

Free programs would be 99% more preferable than paid programs, so some suggestions would help a lot.

Thanks

Edit: oh, not mac btw

I can't tell if you're serious or not, I don't have much experience with different editing software...

I am dead serious. I use it. But I know of few others, like mentioned before, lightworks.

I suppose I'll dink around with both for a bit

although I don't really have time to learn much, so if vsdc is easier to use I'll stick with it

You should have a look at Sony Vegas Movie Studio. It has the same editing functionality in terms of workflow as Sony Vegas I think, but it has limited features such as less available video and audio tracks and less effects. Check it out and see what you think of it.
