Take them in for recycling, or use the machine for some other purpose...like a nas or something 

 

if the laptop is broken, I doubt the parts are going to be much use for anything

According to a review the specs are: Intel Core i7 2630QM,  NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M, 640GB HD.

 

Yea that's not worth recycling haha. Especially if only the keyboard doesn't work. Either find a use for it, Sell it locally stating that the keyboard does not work or sell it on ebay as a whole or in parts.

That looks like a pretty nice laptop, I'd just buy a new keyboard. You can usually find replacement keyboards on Amazon for ~$20. Keyboards are usually pretty easy to replace on laptops.

Only the keybord is not working

Everything I am seeing on the RC530 (via google) says it is a fairly new machine (Sandy Bridge processor with GT500 series GPU).  If the keyboard is all that is broken, get a new keyboard and continue using the laptop. Should not cost over $20 to fix it.

Replace that keyboard, it's still a decent laptop
