How much is a used Macbook Pro?

I wanna get a gaming PC, so im wondering how much a Macbook Pro 13" 2012 model, 16GB ram, i5, 500GB SSD is worth.

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W

Not really sure, but it's going to have a rather significant price premium just because it's an Apple product.

People buy apple products for ascetics, so it depends on how good it looks. 

 

I would say $800-$1200.

 

PS: People who buy apple products usually don't care for specs, so i recommend you take the ssd out and put an an hdd.

You cant buy a Macbook with 16GB of ram, that was a custom install. So maybe I can get 1500 out of it?
