Favorite moments when getting ready to build or building a new PC

okay the title says it all, and I will start

 

I LOVE unboxing brand new parts, I mean just getting to see them in that fresh sealed packaging, and the smell of a freshly opened mobo or GPU, and my favorite is the PSU, I don't know what they put in those things, but they smell better than new car!

I worked all summer in 110 degree weather, but I managed to save up just enough to get a rig that I was happy with, that made getting it built all that more satisfying

PSU is probably the most terrifying thing in anything post build, always there going "that is a nice computer you have here it would be a shame if anything happened to it..."

Sadly i did it all for somebody else But i love doing it  nevertheless, and the crazy face they give me,like they understand, when i try to explain how faster the system is compared to the older one.

I think unboxing is an all round favorite. The seals and the smell. I love the smell of new GPUs in the morning.

We'll I don't really like the smell of a psu, mine had a really weird plastic smell and I was in a room without windows or ventilation so I got sick, threw up that night and had a terrible headache the next day

I love opening all the boxes and seeing everything laid out before me. It's a beautiful moment of tranquility before the best comes alive.
