be quiet! Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler @ NCIX US for $49.99 before shipping

bry123456

Since I decided to pick this up as my first PC part, I figured it'd be worth mentioning in the forums! So, here ya go, a pretty good deal on what is supposed to be a damn good air cooler if you ask me.

http://www.ncixus.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=93614&vpn=BK018&manufacture=be%20quiet!&promoid=1009

For me it ended up being $61 something after shipping.

Also, can we talk about how sexy this thing is?

Low temps, and turning the fan down...

Thermal paste is easy... Toilet paper and alcohol... Easy peasy.

I'll be buying the Pro variant of this next time it goes on sale. I'd buy this one, but I like the look of the Pro more. Still a nice deal nonetheless.

edit: Does anyone know if the pro fits on a msi z77 mpower? I'm pretty sure a nh-d15 does, so I'm assuming the pro does as well. But for reassurance, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Damn, such a good deal...

Yup, these two builds:

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/ntXLrH

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/kXTWGX

Show that they fit with the side panel on. The second link shows a Dark Rock Pro 3 fitting in an H440, it should fit.

Bought one for my i5 4690K, hopefully I got a good CPU. My case is the H440 so I can comment on it if it fits.

Off the top of my head, i believe they perform pretty much the same. It's within the margin of error, as far as temperatures are concerned
