Which is the best for gaming?

so now i finally got my new proper monitor for my pc, but which is better, to use DVI or HDMI, because i've heard that hdmi works the same like dvi but this is the point where i need to ask. Which is better for gaming?

DVI of course. If you have a 120Hz monitor, it'll only work through DVI to get 120Hz anyways.

Either way, DVI all the way.

Not just DVI, but Dual Link DVI. Regular DVI doesn't support 120Hz.

For high resolution 120Hz, you want to use Dual Link DVI, or Display Port.

Not just DVI, but Dual Link DVI. Regular DVI doesn't support 120Hz.

Single Link DVI only supports up to 1920x1200 at 60Hz, while Dual Link DVI supports up to 2560x1600 at 60Hz.

Dual Link DVI also supports 1920x1200 at 120Hz.

Unless you're doing 2560*1600 or 1080P at 120hz, there is no difference at all, other than the fact HDMI also carries an audio signal.

I would still use DVI though.

I'm not sure that DL-DVI can support 2560x1600 at 120Hz. I might be wrong.
