I am looking for nice quiet fans. I want 1 rear fan and two front. I am looking at the rear one as http://pcpartpicker.com/part/be-quiet-case-fan-bl047. For the front ones I don't know. I am using the define r4 black edition with the window. I was looking at the noctua ones since in the front of the case there isnt much intake. I will need very high pressure optimized ones. My rig is black/red, but I dont think you can see the front fans while looking through the window. I am taking the top cage out. The noctua ones I was looking at are these http://pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-case-fan-nff12pwm. Also are the noiseblocker a good choice. Please leave in the comments what you would do.

I have a Define R4 red/black and i have a 2 + 1 setup of bequiet silent wings 2. For the front i would recommend pure wings because you are going to need a full frame in order to latch it into the tool-less mounting mechanism. silent wings will work but they will just  be squeezed in there, not holding on to much.

In the back i can fully recommend bequiets.

Other fans for your color scheme would be the Aerocool Dead Silent fans. They perform really well, have good static pressure and they look flashy but you should mount them with some vibration dampening (i had one, it was quiet, but in higher rpms had too many vibrations for my taste).

Edit: and then there's ofc the plethera of other fans... Scythe gentle typhoons. Noisblockers.....

who cares...

Sorry about that, it has changed.

Ah ok. Noiseblocker fans are great, just as good as the noctua industrial. They are both really good for static pressure and airflow.

But they are both black, so idk what red fan you would want for the rear fan which is visible.

Also if you can afford noctua, go for the new industrial black ones, not the old shit coloured ones :P

Now do the ones in the front make it to your motherboard? or do you have them connected to the r4 fan controller.

I took the cooling in my PC to the next level because i am a big silence freak. I used the R4's fan controller for a while, and yes, the cables are more than long enough. However meanwhile i am using an advanced fan controller, the mCubed T-Balancer bigNG (Linus has one too) which is mounted in the back where my SSDs could be screwed in. I also use a fan splitter which in itself is 60 cm long so cabeling is not a problem for me whatsoever. :D

who cares...

I don't know, since you're going to use them for air flow, maybe Corsair AF140 Quiet Edition?

Also, you can combine it with low noise adapter....

They look pretty to me, I like this clean look. Maybe you perfer something else....

BTW, I think the Define R4 can mount 140mm fans, corect me if I'm wrong.

If he is considering noctua that means he is willing to spend money for decent fans...corsair fans are not decent at all.

to the OP I reccomend NF-F12's, NB e-loops or silverstone ap123's.
