Am I REALLY stupid or is the test wrong?

Cacao

So before I make an ass out of myself by writing the teacher, was I right or am I missing something?

Obviously the numbers on the left are the order I put in (blue numbers are the "correct" order). So according the this test KB < GB < MB < Byte lolwut

Whoever wrote this question should be shot and quartered.

Let's go with the smallest number. A byte is made of 8 bits.

Byte - 8 bits

KB - 8,000 bits

MB - 8,000,000 bits

GB - 8,000,000,000 bits

Byte > MB/GB? LolNo.

Looks like it was worded incorrectly to me.  Your answer was definitely correct.

Well shit...

YAY Common core!

I've noticed a lot of shit like this recently in my own college classes, I had to write to the teacher several times to get answers corrected. Like for instance, a question in my psych. class had an "correct" answer that marijuana was physiologically addictive, which is completely untrue (it's psychologically addictive).

Also they claimed marijuana use can cause mental issues, like weird ones that I've never heard of, or heard of happening to any pothead.

Which just goes to show you how valuable that diploma really is, that you really should double and triple check everything they teach you in school just to make sure THEY know what the fuck they're talking about.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

damn that teacher tho.

I think this is subtly a patience test.

Even if it was largest to smallest it would be wrong lol.

100% corect

That is so wrong, is your teacher bit retarded? :P

This was the last question on the test...

If this is an online thing, he probably wanted www. or http://www.

The correct is in blue, I needed to write "You Tube". So anything other than that would've been wrong.

Why aren't you going to a regular high school?

I did, up to this summer. Here in Switzerland I would have 2 more years of hard school doing the 'matura'. But in Canada school only goes up to grade 12, so I would only have 1 years left. Also I'm quite a bit ahead of that system, so it's all pretty easy. We're moving away from Switzerland so the Swiss diploma would not be any more valuable than the Canadian diploma, that's why I'll just finish this last year quickly online during the summer and I can move onto university or whatever next year. Make sense? :D

I hate online tests.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch
