so heres the thing, while i was watching the game (nederland vs costa rica), a mosquito was trying to drink my blood, so i tried to kill it; i missed, so that thing maked me wonder, can we make animals evolve?.

 

here is the deal, if we kill a mosquito, is because she was too slow to scape, so that means that only the fast mosquitos can survive and pass their genes. So is with the rats, we kill the dumb ones and only the smarters can survive, and so on with flies, ants, etc. so that makes us some kind of "gods of evolution", like theirs onw "flying spaguetti monster"...... thats it, i think that we are making animals smarters, and teaching them that we are a danger to their life.

 

One day they will become even smarters, and they will do something about us, peace or war?, you can make the diference, kill the smarters..... bye!

What the hell do you think breeding is? We've been making animals and plants evolve the way we want them to for thousands of years. Cows don't produce MASSIVE amounts of needless milk naturally, nor does corn produce gigantic seeds in large amounts because it's an efficient way to reproduce.

The process of evolution takes hundreds of thousands of years, I think given global problems such as global warming, disease, poverty andwar, mosquitoes turning into apex predators is really the least of our concerns. 

 

Mosquitoes are one of the most successfully evolved lifeforms on earth. Life and evolution is all about survival and the threat of extinction for them is really non-existent. We will die out much faster than mosquitoes will.
