if you click on the shop it sends you to a page with a R9 280(non X) so the price is €250,- 

Oh. Didn't saw that. However since it's cheaper than the r9 280 from HIS you should still get that one.

MSI cards are honestly pretty good, but I don't know if they're good enough to warrant that much more over something like another non-reference cooler (as long as the other one doesn't suck).

The MSI Gaming cooler is one of the best if not the best  GPU cooler on the market. I just find it too be too red.

The MSI Gaming cooler is one of the best if not the best  GPU cooler on the market. I just find it too be too red. 

That's why I like the ASUS DirectCU II coolers now, since you can have them all black. And they look nice.

how about the windforce? is it very loud in comparison to a msi gaming one?

The one on the 780 is loud. Much louder than the MSI Twin Frozr Gaming on the 780. But then again I'm kind of silent freak.

Sadly it's only the r9 290x and the 780ti. Also since they already charge a bunch for bragging rigths they may just paint the heatpipes in black :/

got the same on the 780 but it is my first high end gpu so i dont really know how loud it is in comparison to the msi one.
