I have the option between these 780 tis, which is the best in terms of running quiet and fast? Heat up to 80 degrees is fine with me as long as it doesn't damage the card in any significant want (It should run 3-4 years) and I WILL be overclocking it as much as it will go :) I don'y have manufacturer loyaltys and I think all of the cards look sexy anyway so don't really care about aesthetics.

The classified costs just a bit too much. I would have to wait for another pay check xD

If you're buying a 780 ti, go all out. Don't buy a cheap 780 ti IMO. I have the classy underwater and love it. On air it boosted to 1150 mhz from GPU boost 2.0. Some cards can't even overclock that far. Definitely worth it.

ASUS DCUII is also really quiet,, and stays cool too.

Really anything from EVGA, MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS will run coof and quiet.

I have heard some people that say the EVGA coolers are loud though...

if you have a red-black them going on go with the msi one

if that doesn't matter i would buy the evga ones, they simply look better and heard many good things about them.

I never recommend asus because their service sucks

I have two of the msi ones.  They have a very good factory overclock (higher than the evga), run cool and quiet, deliver great performance, and are pretty cheap compared to other non reference designs.  I haven't bothered trying to overclock them beyond what they came as.

Thrive on change. Embrace volatility.

Well compared to the k1ngp1n and classified yes. Go for the best 780ti possible.

Oh so there is no point in getting the Classy if you don't bios flash?

I didn't say that, I was just telling you that the Classified also needs a bios flash for best performance which ruled out the KPE for you. Both cards work great on the stock LN2 bios also- just not as good as they can be.

Linus pls don't ban me.

Why don't you buy via Amazon, the superclocked is $100'ish less http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Superclocked-Dual-Link-Graphics-03G-P4-2884-KR/dp/B00GMTGJIU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403555227&sr=8-1&keywords=evga+780+ti .

I'd say go with EVGA , I hear of people getting good overclocks with them and Evga have a good warranty process. I love the Twin Frozr cooler but they aren't beefed up for the highest tier consumer grade graphics cards so I can't recommend MSI in this case unless you go 770 or below xD. Asus's RMA process is awful, first hand experience :D but the direct cu ii cooler is supposed to be v quiet on the 780/780 ti. Don't expect an uber high overclock like you normally see with the Evga cards if you do decide to go with Asus.

I'm in Canadia and want an easy return in case my card comes broken (I have TERRIBLE luck with hardware)

Why would I buy the cheapest card I would get when I am spending $800+? That just seems like a poor consumer choice. I may as well get the best I can get.

Its also saying that 50$ more for this one are too much... With that one you will be able to clock it to 1300 mhz or even a bit more...

Rarely on air with the stock bios, trust me on that. I have experience with 3 of those myself and have seen well over 25-30 more owner's share their experiences.

I am not bios flashing, which is the only time the Kingpin shines above the classified. If I bios flashed I would fuck it up and brick my card. I am getting the best I can before getting EXTREMELY diminished returns.

Oh yeah and I'm in Canada where everything is more. The Kingpin is $100 more on NCIX.ca and Newegg.ca I am buying from somewhere based in Canada because I would like to return it easily in case something is wrong with the card.
