extremely low fps in BF3

re-install fixed the issue thanks to all of you guys! :)

Hey people,

 

Since today my FPS is Battlefield 3 multiplayer won't go above 10 FPS. No matter the map. Normally with the settings on high I get around 90 fps but today 1-10 FPS. On battlelog the following message is stated: "We are investigating a recent unwarranted PunkBuster ban. We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience."

I don't know if that has anything to do with that at all but I have tried BF4 as well and there it runs all fine. 

In the loading screen i get 130-140 fps as normal but when the map is loaded it goes down to 1-10 fps instantly:(

Does anybody else have this issue? And does anybody know how to fix this?

P.S. I am running a 3570K @4.2 GHZ, XFX 7870 and 8 GB of Gskill 1600 RAM.

have you updated your graphics card drivers? that message is shown to all players btw.

did u check if u have any over heating issues

maybe some how ur gpu or cpu is drastically down clocked for some reason (check cpu-z gpu-z)

 

 reinstall GPU drivers

 

 

also is this happening in all games or only BF ?

I got no GPU overclock

 

did u check if u have any over heating issues

it happens only in BF3, not anywhere else. And I am going to check as we speak

What settings are you running?

 Bf3 has a weird bug that sometimes changes your graphics settings.

Usually the default HIGH settings, and when I play with my friends competative I use the Medium default settings

I had that issue before, a fresh re-install worked for me. Just make sure your cloud data saves your hours of unlocks.

No problem. Especially since BF3 is the only game affected, something must have gotten miffed up in the game files, or some sort of fuck-uppery. You should worry only when it starts to happen in all of your games. Let me know if the re-install works! :)

ive found a fix!! close raptr. its because raptr recieved an update which broke something :)

Ill look into that when I redownload bf3 (500kb/sec :( ). Thanks for the reply!!

 

 

Now show the sensor tab after a minute of ingame :D

Ill do that if it isn't fixed after the reload!
