mITX, mATX, BTX, ATX, E-ATX, HTPX. HTPX was a failed attempt at a home theater oriented motherboard.

I'm probably missing one or two, but I'm tired and that's all I can remember.

You missed Xl-ATX which bigger than E-ATX but smaller than HTPX.

There are too many to list, but in ATX Standards it goes mostly like this (from smallest to largest):

MiniTX (not officially ATX, but is compatible, MiniATX is a different thing that's not really used in consumer applications)

MicroATX

ATX

E-ATX (Extended ATX)

XL-ATX (not a standard, and rarely used, but some boards are still produced)

There are more, such as FlexATX that are just never used in building your own PC.

I've never heard of HTPX, so if that's a home theatre thing, I'm not sure.

But HPTX is a form factor only used on EVGA's dual socket motherboards, and is large.

If you are going for server/workstation boards, the measurements are in SSI, again from smallest to largest:

SSI CEB - A little bigger than ATX, but uses the same mounting holes so will fit in all EATX cases, and some ATX cases.

SSI EEB - Bigger still. Needs specialized cases

SSI MEB - Huge, needs a server case, comparable to HPTX.

So whats the biggest motherboard that will fit in the Corsair Obsidian 900D?

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/obsidian-series-900d-super-tower-case

It's listed under compability:

Compatibility

ATX, Micro ATX, E-ATX, HPTX, and Mini ITX compatible

It means that case has holes for mounting screws. You could put two small mobos inside with bit modding.
