hi guys

 

when i record videos on minecraft im on optifine and most of the time i get 30fps while recording, i thought my pc can do better than this right?

i really dont know what the problem is, i may have to consider overlclocking. ive also saw others with worse pcs get better fps

Please help

Ive tried:

dxtory settings on 720p, and 8 threads on the proccesor

for fraps i put the settings to 30fps and half size

ive messed about with the game settings

fraps seems to be a bit better

any other suggestions would be ACE!

Your recording software is probably locking the fps at 30.

fraps hasnt locked it but nothing else work apart from fraps

Lately I've been using FRAPS, but I just upped the framerate. Takes up a ton more space, but it tends to make the videos look better.

OBS my settings probably won't help you, because I record at 1080p/60fps/60k bit rate, dxtory I have it downscale to 720p and record at either 29.97 or 30 fps. I can usually hit that performance with Dxtory, OBS always works without fail for me.

Why.. does your 280x.. get lower fps... than my 7770...

Thought here, go to the settings tab of Dxtory and change the thread count to 4 and try recording then.
