What compression fittings has everyone used?

I'm looking into buying compression fittings for a water cooling set-up that I've been planning. Just curious of what everyone else is using. Bitspower are basically the "gold standard" but is there anything that could be just as good? Or no?

 

I know water cooling isn't cheap and I shouldn't cheap out. But, it would be great to hear other people's experiences and opinions on other brands. I've been looking at Koolance, alphacool, too.

Bitspower is awesome.

There are many other good fittings, monsoon makes some good ones.

Bitspower is the absolute best though, and you can get any fitting type in a ton of colours

I've got bitspower fittings, as well as bitspower barbs. I have used Alphacool in the past but their built quality is significantly less than bitspower, atleast their 90degree ones are.  I find they wobble on the o-ring a little too much for my liking.  I have also had one bitspower compression fitting wobble in the same way but not as bad.

Like a lot of others I run all bitspower fittings. They are expensive but the quality is worth it I think, plus I really like the aesthetics. Have got a couple of alphacool fittings I had used previously and definitely cheaper build quality with their rotary fittings, still didnt leak or anything just was less solid. 

 

I have spent a small fortune on fittings, probably could have bought a couple of the best AIO coolers for the same price haha. But the way I look at it is that you can generally reuse them all just change the o-ring each time and then when it does come to a new build you have plenty of different angles/options to plumb everything in already on hand and are less likely to be stuck waiting for that one fitting before you can finish the build.

Bitspower all the way, the same fittings through 4 builds and still going strong, so the initial expense is worth it in the long run

^^^ Yeah thats what I look at as well!!!! Also, I've got a number of multi Rotary Fittings that certainly are "side loaded" slightly...you know pressure on the fitting in the horizontal plane...and no leaks..ever

I have had great luck with Swiftech compression fittings.  I have used over 60 in the 4 rigs that I have built in the last 2 years and only one was defective and broke.  Never had any leaking.  Prices are much less than Bitspower.

+1 for Bitspower compressions. I use the 3/8" ID 5/8" OD ones with the same size Primochill LRT tubing.

 

The Monsoon compressions may have a variety of colors and look unique but they are horrible to work with (at least with Primochill tubing). The compression ring "sticks" to the tubing making it very hard to tighten. It actually cut the tubing because the edges were sharp. The "wrench" tool is awkward to use in tight spaces also. There are pics of the Monsoons in my sig from the Prodigy build. You can see that some of the fittings aren't even tightened at all as I couldn't get it in far enough to grab the threads. No leaks though.

Bitspower for life, although the monsoon ones look great and that handy tool for mounting that comes with Monsoon kits is just amazing. If you use shiny bitspower fittings you really have to be careful not to scratch them when u are tightening them.
