Hi leathart123,

I should have mentioned,4.2Ghz is my 24/7 OC, it keeps up with games and any other task I throw at it. I have a 5Ghz bios profile ready to go when required B)

Hi joelthezombie15,

Good point, considering the RAM block is purely aesthetics. I do think however that if I added any other motherboard blocks in it would become too cramped plus I don't believe that EK had any blocks to fit my motherboard at the time.

how's your temps going?

Hi downcast,

Ambient: Approx 23 degrees

All fans: Approx 50-60%

I'd expect the following temps to go up a bit more with longer testing.

CPU: Prime95 (8 Threads) at 4.2Ghz is getting approx 60 degrees.

GPU: Heaven DX11, Tessellation- Extreme, Shaders- High, Anisotropy- 16x, AA- 8x, 1080p is getting approx 40 degrees.

I don't believe my CPU cooling is doing as well as I'd like at the moment. I think this may be due to that I've had this block in a couple of different builds so far and before I built this one the internals weren't as clean as I'd like plus the pastel ice white adds few degrees. I cleaned it the best I could however I probably should have bought a different block at that point.

yeah because those temps arent very amazing, my 212 evo gets almost the same temps, with 23ºC ambient it gets about 65ºC, you should look into getting a new block, maybe the apogee hd white, i personally like the way it looks quite a lot

Not my favourite case, but I gotta say, that is sharp! Well done.

Haha I was on the fence about using anything other than distilled water. I was going to post results of how this coolant reacted with the Primochill Advanced LRT, perhaps I could do this when I change over the CPU block.
