lolliport viruse

so It looks like I have the lolliport viruse. MS security essentials will identify it but cannot remove it. whats the next easiest way of removing it?

lol its running but It hasnt found it yet. only took MS about 3 hours to scan my entire system. I got somewhere around 3 million objects. or about 960gb

just let malwarebytes scan everything, pause msse if its still scanning too

ms is finieshed. just waiting for malwarebytes to do its thing. malware pro for life! wut wut

If MS shows you the location you can try to manually delete it.

I wouldn't run malwarebytes if MSE cant remove it.  Because if the virus has infected a critical windows file then windows will be messed up once Malwarebytes remove it.

 

I recommend running Hitman Pro by Surfright, because you will need to sign up for a trial but it scans with like 5 different antiviruses, it scans in like 5mins and it can repair even the most horrid infection.  I've dealt with viruses that are on a massive scale that Malwarebytes trembles on. 

 

Once I came across this virus that infected routers and actually disabled windows firewall and there was tons of traffic coming in and out.  Malwarebytes wouldn't detect it, although it found the downloader and it couldn't remove it.   Hitman pro found everything and I had to restart and wait like 20 minutes for it to clean before bootup but it removed everything. 

 

If any antivirus cant delete a virus, thats a sign you've got a nasty infection.   Esspecially since MSE is one of the better antiviruses out there in the way of removal. 

 

 

Another tip is to boot into safe mode and run the ms scan again, because if its a problem of ms unable to close the virus down before deletion try it in safe mode.

according to google this is a high level virus. 

 

malware returned nothing.

because msse didnt actually finish due to an error on my part, I am going to let it run over night with my system in safemode. Ill report what I got tomorrow morning before I go to work.

Wipe that drive baby butt clean and reinstall the OS uncase you cant fix it.
