The first PC I bought (mostly) myself for gaming had a Motorola PowerPC 604e CPU at 166 MHz and a Voodoo 3 3000 PCI card with a flashed ROM. I believe it had 32 MB of RAM at the time of purchase, I could be wrong about that. It ran Mac OS 8.1 and eventually 9.1. I eventually ended up with like four hard disks in it, including one 10,000 RPM drive that sounded like a jet engine.

My family's first computer was a Mac Performa 580 in about 1994. It had a Motorola 68040 @ 33 MHz, 8 MB of RAM, and a 500 MB hard drive and ran Mac OS 7.5. I played Wolfenstein and Doom on it.
