a Sapphire radeon r9 270x. It plays any game i throw at it with 30fps or much more. for the exeption of course of some really intensive games. Oh and i also had an i5 4440 for first!

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

A 3.0GHz dual-core intel, socket 775 stuff.

And! A 9400GT... I had the weirdest thing with this thing. I managed to wreck 2 stock coolers because the gpu got so hot, the fan motor just bended, it's odd, and i managed it twice :D

First fan died after 3 months, second one after 15 minutes of gaming °_° Whacked a zalman aftercooler on it, problem solved.

I'll never forget the temp readings. After 130°C it became crap like #$à°C Highest reading that i could sort of read was 16&°C and then it shutted own.

After that, i got a 9800GT. I don't have it anymore but it was such a good thing.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

Early 2000s first PC that I used for gaming: (some parkard bell PC, piece of garbage, I "think" this is it, not sure)

Pentium III 733 MHz
Nvidia Graphics (Unknown)

128MB of SDRAM (I upgraded to 196MB, then to 256MB and near the end of it to 512MB...)

I played Halo Combat Evolved on that thing.

From there I could a significant upgrade in 2005~2006 to a custom built PC:
AMD Athlon XP 2800+

ATI Radeon x800 XL AGP

1GB of DDR1.

Which lasted me until the end of 2009, to my current gaming PC in the description.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus / NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 / PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Win 10 Pro

First PC I used for reasonable 'gaming?'

G3220, onboard. Then upgraded to a G3220 + the 7770s I have now. Then 4690k + 7770s I have now.

First PC I owned?

some dual core laptop pentium and onboard, again. Got the job done given I was playing very unintensive games.

An old Pentium I believe with 64mb of ram a 2gb HDD and windows 95, it was an old emachines that I used to (barely) play red baron, NFS 3 (struggled on low settings) and red alert. Had that thing up until 2005ish when I turned it into pretty much just a NES emulator haha those were the days

I think it was probably the 3D rage. Kept me going right up until Diablo II, Starcraft and C&C: Red Alert came along. It wasn't really all about graphics between 93-98 though.

I actually think I might still have my old 14.4kbps modem around here somewhere...

Fractal Design R2 Define, Core i5-4670k@3.40Ghz, 16gb Corsair Vengeance Ram

Zotac GTX 780 OC, BenQ XL2410T 1920x1080 120hz, LG 29EA73-P 29 Ultra wide

Crucial M4 250gb SSD, 2x3tb Western Digital Caviar Black partitioned into 1.36tb each, Razer Black Widow 2013 edition, Razer Deathadder, Logitech G13.

after market coolers that you put on yourself seem to be the best way to go, if you get like a used GPU or  blower style one for cheaper. :P
