I finally own a legitimate copy of Office. And I got it off of my school's IT guy. The school had originally planned to throw Office 2007 Enterprise on all of the middle school computers, but they found out (after a few dozen copies) that Professional would be cheaper, and the students/teachers wouldn't miss out on any of the features that they might need.

 

Seriously. I actually own this. And a few dozen other copies. Which I will not give away.

Good luck running that on a 2.4GHz Pentium 4 HT and Intel Extreme Graphics 2.

 

I actually liked Windows 8, before it killed itself (corrupted an update while it was installing by trying to reboot).

The poor Dell is fast enough for right now. Eventually I'll be able to get a job, and after gas money and food I'll save up for at least a Dell. At least. I plan on the Intel version of my dream rig, which is in my sig, if you're interested.

Gets the job done, and gets it done well. I tend to do stuff like Battlefield 3 on the weekends, and stuff like PS1 emulators through the week.

What's your resolution and FPS on BF3? I just wanna know your endurance on low FPS. I've been using a Radeon HD 5450 and playing games on 15-25 FPS for 3 years straight. That's how I raged one day and begged my parents for a new PC.

What's your resolution and FPS on BF3? I just wanna know your endurance on low FPS. I've been using a Radeon HD 5450 and playing games on 15-25 FPS for 3 years straight. That's how I raged one day and begged my parents for a new PC.

800 x 600. All low settings. Typically hover around 30-45 FPS on a 64-player server, depending on how much is going on. I made a video on it, but FRAPS locked it to 30.

You could use Google docs or be a badass and use notepad. Hell, be even more badass by using this.

Oh you use Google docs? Ewwww. And Open/LibreOffice is just as horrible, if not worse.

And that is why most students resort to thepiratebay for their Word and Excel.

I've done some homework on my typewriter before because it's cool. I stopped when I reached the end of the ink strip and had no idea how to reverse it.
