780 Ti performance on BF5?

Hi guys,

 

it is rumoured that a new Battlefield game will come out next year ( i am not talking about Hardline, i mean a proper Battlefield game) what kind of FPS do you think i will get on ultra settings if the game were to come out in late 2015?

No joke what kind of question is this? We have 0 clue as to not only how optimized it will be but also what else they add to the frostbite engine. Also I doubt there will be a new battlefield next year.

Umm I would get BF5 because it will probably have all the same issues that bf4 did at launch and that have still yet to be addressed!

 

BF3 is free though so ya, just play that

You probably shouldn't be thinking that far ahead, just go with what you have at the moment, a 780 ti is more than good enough for most games for the next couple of years, so of course, if this hypothetical BF5 does come out next year, it will be more than capable of playing it at high to ultra settings on high resolution (not 4K) screens, unless it pulls a crisis, which it almost certainly won't.

Hmm we can't really determine this now, but what we do know is that the BF3 system requirements were near identical to those of BF4's, even though it was stressed that BF4's frostbite 3 engine was 3x or whatever times more powerful and intensive, so I would imagine for BF5 the engine won't be that much better and the requirements will still be very similar, so I would imagine the 780 ti being like the second most powerful single gpu you could buy totally able to play BF5 ultra, especially because future games will require more ram as the next gens each have 5gbs each so devs can have more memory intensive games, and the 780 ti has 3gb which should be plenty, and I bet by late 2015 3gb of ram will be standard for game for the next few years after.
