AAre they better than my v-moda crossfade lp's?
Are they better than Senheiser hd 558 or 598?
Are they better than DT990 pro?
Theese would be used for BF4, dirt 3, and other games, mostly.

1) not sure, but the Crossfades are bass heavy and built to be durable, not necessarily top audio quality.

2) no

3) no

4) these look more geared to portable headphones

OK, so i would be best getting somthing else.

Been looking at these for a couple days now, doing research here and there. (I reallllllly want a pair)

They seemed to be aimed at those who listen to a lot of Rock/Ska/Blues ect....

Basically what i'm saying is that its more tuned to mids/highs instead of your wub wubs.

Now to answer your question(s), they won't sound better then any of those headphones you mentioned. However they will sound decent for gaming.

Definitely not an upgrade compared to the V-Moda though.

If you love bass, I think you'd appreciate planar headphones more. Try it sometimes, if you haven't already. It's not about quantity, it's about quality :)

I am not a basshead. I was just curious what my headphone could do since I knew they were more bass heavy.

I'm not a basshead either, but I'm telling you, bass on planars are soooo delicious, that it will get people craving for more. Of course I can't really describe it with words. Like I said, try planars sometime, if haven't already....

They are better than the LPs, and the Sennheisers. The Sennheisers is more personal preference though. It's more of a side step and slightly up. The DT990 is more of a sidestep than the Sennheisers but at the CHC Silverado's price of $49 right now they are a total steal.

For $50 there isn't anything that beats the silverados.

Ahh stop saying that...

I allready have v-moda crossfade lp, I don't want a downgrade or sidestep, I'll pay more to get better

What? They are definitely not a downgrade or sidestep. They are a good upgrade.

They're both very "tuned" headphones, so there's no clear better or worst. I've actually owned both, so I feel confident in letting you all know that they both have their merits. There's no reason in OP spending money on Silverados if he wants a definite upgrade.

Thanks. That's what I thought.
