Freakin Cant decide what to upgrade!!

So you can see my specs below and you can check out my build down their as well however ill post a general pic and well..... I'm not happy with it The CPU and GPU are dandy and treat me well but frankly and sorry WD but your Green line of HDD are slow as crap when you try to do stuff. So... An SSD, which I will buy on my first paycheck however from their theres the whole thing of should I watercool. I really want more accessories so mechanical keyboard, wireless 360 (Or XBONE controller, heard they are coming out) and also I need some new sleeved cables and i want to mod and paint and make a midplate but then again it comes back to.... Watercooling, dammit its so dang expensive. I could buy a 500GB SSD and maybe like one or two other things and squeeze the watercooling in yet it wouldnt look as good as if i waited another year. What do you think, i could get a good SSD and stick watercooling in their but their would be a few unfinished parts that like Slicks build would just have to wait. So what would you upgrade was really the point of this big run on sentence that hopefully you didnt read all the way through... lol.

Why not a Seagate Barracuda, 250GB 840 Evo, and watercooling? That would save a lot compared to RAID SSDs and all that. It would be a waste to only have SSDs. You would need to have pictures and everything unimportant on a very expensive SSD instead of on a cheap HDD.

I would buy a 500GB or 1TB SSD for a boot drive or if you have a lot of files a 3TB HDD and a 250GB SSD.

Why not a Seagate Barracuda, 250GB 840 Evo, and watercooling?

Cuz I want to put all my apps and games on the SSD and then just music, movies and stuff on the HDD however i could probably get away with putting games on a HDD if it was a decent one. I would still want more than 250GB though

First, may I ask, If you are an AMD Lover. Why do you have an Intel CPU and a Nvidia GPU?

 

If I were you, I would pick myself up a nice little SSD (Like you plan to) and get a nice quick 1TB HDD. However, you already have a really nice rig.

Just get a ssd. It'll make a bigger difference than upgrading everything else combined.

I've argued with a friend about SSDs and their worth, two actually. And both were being stubborn as balls making BS how SSDs cost an arm and a leg (what is it, 2010 still?) or that they don't see any justification for them and more or less mocked me for getting one because I'm impatient ect ect. I told them unless they've actually used an SSD based system and experienced the benefits to get rekt. I for one like bloated apps like Photoshop opening up ~2 seconds vs waiting a day.

If you got a 1TB Barracuda that's $50+a 500GB SSD $250+watercooling $700= $1,000 that's really expensive actually lol

You could get a small SSD which would make a big immediate speed difference+watercool and then later on get another large SSD. That's what I did.

250GB is plenty for a couple of games and programs... if you don't think so get a 1TB 840 EVO.

I can fit everything on a 500GB SSD and then probably just upgrade a few other things, idk. Ill go through my list and figure out what I can get.

I'm guessing you have never had an ssd in your computer it makes a lot of difference and they are extremely cheap nowadays.

Nooooooooooo. My boot time was +30s before getting an SSD to boot off. Now I boot in ~6s.
