How do you earn forum ranks?

I seem to have had all my ranks grandfathered in from when I was more active here 2014 to 2017. I was wondering how to earn more, if it's possible. Are there numbers - how many answers, reactions etc?

There's a certain number of posts until your next rank, you'll earn points and new ranks as you post, react, etc

Make the page small enough you get the mobile style layout hamburger menu in the top right.

I believe it's 1 per post that's not in a status update or the off topic section and one per reaction you get.

Post content get a point. Get enough points and you'll increase to the next rank.

Counts any content posted anywhere on the forum including status updates. Receiving reactions does not award points, reactions have their own "Reputation".
