We used to have it, but it was disproportionately slow for minimal benefit so it was removed.

On profiles that allow it, you can see what content you're viewing. But what if you could see who's viewing your topic from the topic itself? Maybe similar to how Google Docs handles who's viewing a topic?

You can see who is viewing what from the online users page, just not by post.

I would imagine that they didn't include topic viewers that way there is no conflict if someone asks a question then the user never answers it for example. Prevents potential flaming.

Ah yes, I don't think it's needed.

You can view the topic by amount of views and yes its depressing if you have 100 views and 0 response though.
