What do you think of my $1500 4K PC? Parts ordered

Ordered all the parts. Can't wait! This is the first high-end PC I built for myself. The last PC I built was in 2015. It had an i3 4160 and a GTX 960. For what it's worth, that PC is still in use in parents' house, split into 2 builds. The GTX 960 can still play today's AAA games!

Deals for this build-

  • CPU, Motherboard, RAM, and SSD deals all from Micro Center, brand new.
  • GPU from Zotac eBay (accepted offer)
  • Cooler, Case PSU, and fans from Amazon (note the GPU does actually fit, PCPartPicker is being silly

Everything was bought new!

Amazed that I was able to fit an RTX 4080. a 12600KF, 32GB, a 2TB SN850X, and a 280mm AIO into my budget, along with keeping it SUPER small!

And to think all this started with me getting a 4k 120hz OLED TV from Best Buy new for $230 because of a pricing error.

Oh yeah they were so nice about the bundle! Can't believe I got all that for $240.

I love your specs btw. I've been a CRT evangelist for so long.

When you shop at the right time, you can get some pretty sweet deals. They will offer some sweet combo deals to just move the old stock. That can be a win for the budget shopper, plus you'll find that the microcenter staff are really helpful (depends on location) as some of them are techs, gamers and hobbyists.
