Posted April 24 Hey there. New here. Long time watcher of ltt though. My current specs I9 10850k rtx3080fe 32g ddr4 I'm wanting to build a mini itx for my next pc. I'll be using the tera case. I'm wondering if you would pull the trigger on a i7 1400k or if you would wait for the 15th gen to come around. I'm not in a hurry but I do have an ultrawide monitor on the way. So a bit more taxing than my flat 1440p panel. Right now I can build out a 14th gen terra case with no gpu for like 1100. Starting to wonder if I should have upgraded my pc before getting the Alienware oled I just ordered. What would you do? Thanks!!!!
 I would focus on other things like that monitor you want to get, and other peripherals to make life and multitasking easier. If all working fine, I guess u should hold back for awhile. 15th gen cpu and next gen gpu are coming. Your rig could play any game with no lag. Posted April 25 I wouldn't personally upgrade if my PC was those specs. I would use it for quite a few more years first. “Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don't just give up.” -Stephen Hawking
