Currently in the process of buying the hardware to build an ITX system but can anyone recommend to me a solid ITX motherboard for a 7600X?

If you’re going for an SFF build consider going for a non x am5 cpu such as the 7600, 7500f or 7700. 7900 if you need the cores since they perform about the same but are easier to cool.

Assuming you want to maintain PBO for Curve Optimizer undervolting, B650/E is the way to go (X670/E is a joke in ITX). Given that, there are realistically only 5 options.

If the $200 B650I Lightning Wifi does everything you need as far as I/O, I can't suggest spending any more money.

 

The only one I would NOT suggest is the Asrock B650E PG-ITX Wifi as its, at least has been, the only B650/X670 board produced without BIOS flashback.

I’m considering the Dan H2O case with a 7600x and 4070 Super. I’ve seen a lot recommending the ASRock B650I and ASUS B650E.

What's your budget? The asrock B650I lightning wifi would be my pick if you're not looking for pcie 5. Get a 7500f instead of the 7600x, it only costs $124 NEW AMD Ryzen 5 7500F R5 7500F 3.7GHz 6-Core 12-Thread CPU Processor 5NM L3=32M 100-000000597 Socket AM5 Without cooler - AliExpress

I've already purchased the majority of the components and only require the motherboard to finish. I believe by the time PCIe 5 comes to use I'd be considering another upgrade then so it's not that important. The ASRock seems to be the most suggested from what I've googled and is priced nicely at £209 here in the UK where as the ASUS B650E is around £290 and ASRock B650E is £267. I did look at the MSI Edge for £199 however, I've seen quite the number of user feedback complaints.
