Can’t Change Display Orientation

I’m running Windows 10 on an RTX 3080 with latest nvidia studio drivers outputting via display port to two 1440p monitors, one horizontal one vertical. I turned on my computer today and found my vertical monitor in a landscape orientation.

 

I tried resetting it in Windows displays setting, but it didn’t work. I tried resetting it in Nvidia control panel, but it didn’t work. I tried swapping the displayport cables, but it didn’t work. I tried swapping the displayport ports, but it didn’t work. I tried restarting the computer, but it didn’t work. 

 

I’m at a loss. please help.

That's... weird. I'd suspect windows is being funky
Try SFC/DISM
