Hello,

I've just  been going on individual sections of the forum, to get my parts right.

So here I'm putting them together on the same list.

This rig will be used for Gaming, Video Editing, Recording and Streaming (In that order).

The budget is 1200$.

Games I'll be playing: Minecraft, Micorsoft Simulator Series, Warframe, (Hopefully Titanfall) [in no specific order]

I will also be seting up dual monitors: Asus vs239h-p    x2

So here it is:

CPU:  Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($223.98 @ SuperBiiz)

Motherboard:  Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($129.00 @ Amazon)

Memory:  Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($74.98 @ Amazon)

Storage:  Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk  ($79.99 @ Micro Center)

Storage:  Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($54.43 @ OutletPC)

Video Card:  Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB DirectCU II  Video Card  ($319.99 @ NCIX US)

Case:  Cooler Master Storm Enforcer ATX Mid Tower Case  ($69.99 @ TigerDirect)

Operating System:  Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)  ($89.98 @ OutletPC)

Total: $1179.28

(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Please do comment and tell me whether this is alright, and if possible where i can cut costs, otherwise I think its alright. For the cooler I might use the stock cooler, until I can buy the Cooler Master Seidon 120V, Or save up more and go for a custom water-loop, Then overcome my fear of overclocking.

For the VGA Card, I'm aware of the length, so I will be removing the Modular Hard drive cage.

For Peripherals:

Keyboard: Logitech G510s

Mouse : Logitech G602

Headphones: Plantronics Rig

Monitors: [Asus Vs239h-p] x2  (Dual Monitor)

All good go ahead. EVO is not much worse than 120mm rads and it's definitely more quiet. If you want to watercool invest into 240 rad.

Maybe you should go with an RM 650 or 750, since that will give you more headroom, and more ability to upgrade. Other than that, it looks great.

Thanks ! Yes the case does support a 240 rad.

What would you recommend? (PS I've read may reviews on Closed loop coolers about leakage, dead on arrival etc.)

Water cooling is definitely less reliable than good old big tower. Can't recommend any AIO's myself.

Nice selection, only thing I'd personally change is the case because it's a bit too obnoxious looking for me, I prefer something more minimalistic. Also like @tmcclelland455 said, you might want to go for a 750W PSU if you plan to add another 770 later. I'd avoid 650W, it's probably enough for 2 770s but you'd have no headroom.

Sounds Good :)

But won't that affect the efficiency?

I would just go with some Noctua cooler, like the NH-S12 or 14. Both are well made. Just gotta check the height of the cooler and what your case supports. Usually they perform just as well or only a little bit worse and are much quieter.

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @4.2HGhz 1.25V || Noctua NH-U12S SE2 || 16GB (2×8GB) Aegis 3000Mhz CL16 @3200Mhz ||
|| Sapphire Pulse RX 6700 10G || MSI B450i Gaming PLUS MAX Wifi

2x4GB is not going to give you a lot of room to expand in the future...

I would recommend 1x8 or 2x8GB if you can afford a little extra. 8gb will be horrible for video editing.

I will try but as i mentioned earlier, I'm on a strict 1200$ Budget.

Yeah I think that is feasible I've updated the list, and am getting a Corsair RM 750,

As for the case @DavidTheWin  I quite like the looks of this case, but I feel it lacks features. Guys could you recommed a case within 120$ that has good looks as well as great functionality?

Sure will check it out. I do love Noctua for their silence, but hate the guy who came up with that color scheme.

h440, r4, 450D

those are the usual suspects for nice moderately priced cases (get the r4)
