Chrome randomly locks up for 1-2 minutes

This has been annoying me for a bit now, while I am working my Chrome will randomly lock up. I max have 10 tabs open in total. When it freezes, I can still use my PC, open task manager, etc. I am usually watching a Twitch stream when this happens, not sure if related. My RAM usage never goes above 50% when this happens. Any ideas what could be causing this?
